A fresh gust of wind
Lifts the weeping willow’s skirt
Swirling green pollen.

Breezy April day
Spiderlings sail by like kites
Trailing silken strings.

Wind howls from the sea
At the closed amusement park
The Ferris wheel spins.

Wind through cherry trees
Fragile petals shaken loose
Drifting like pink snow.

Late March

Bright, cold, windy day
Air crisp as an icicle
Out like a lion!

In Like a Lion

Dark, windy March day
Bouquets of bright umbrellas
Blossom on sidewalks.

Blue blooms on purple
The tangy taste of July
Drives back the March wind.
