Strut toward reflected rivals
In shiny hubcaps.

Puff their chests and fan their tails
Wooing fickle Spring.

The shape of the sharp-shinned hawk
Pursues the pigeons.

The sunny side of the roof
Tiled with pigeons.

A patch of gray cloud
Trapped on the frosted pavement:
Dropped pigeon feather.

Pointed wings above.
