A Haiku Each Day

Sixty-two hundred and five Syllables a year.

March 3rd

Ninety-two winters
Yielding to crocus-filled springs
Ninety-two birthdays.

For my grandmother, 92 years old today. Somehow, no matter how long and harsh the winter, there are always crocuses on her birthday.
