A Haiku Each Day

Sixty-two hundred and five Syllables a year.

Scarlet cardinal
The bright heart of a bare tree
Throbbing with a song.

I always look forward to hearing the first cardinal begin to sing again when winter is coming to an end. Their song is beautiful, it’s just a shame they usually stay so high in trees. 🙂

I heard a cardinal singing when it was warm a couple days ago – I was wishing it was spring too!

Loved the analogy! Just an amazing site in my mind. Thanks for a wonderful mind to create these as often as you do.
